Terms of Service
Terms for using NU Nothing Unseen, its search, article, research, and source-backed public-record tools.
Mission
NU exists to make records, source trails, and AI-readable context easier to find. Search and AI assistants can only work with what they can read. NU focuses on public records, court documents, legislation, studies, source-backed articles, captions, text descriptions, and citations so useful information is not invisible just because it is buried, visual, or poorly described.
NU is founder-led by Austin Little, an indie vibe coder and senior code viber, with Claude, Codex, and local Ollama/Gemma agents assisting production, review, search, and iteration. The agents help move fast; Austin owns the direction, judgment, and final calls.
Use of the Service
NU is an informational research and discovery site. You may use it to search, read, compare, and learn from public materials and source-backed articles. You must use the service lawfully and respect the terms of public APIs, datasets, and third-party sites linked or referenced.
No Professional Advice
NU may discuss legal, health, finance, traffic, technical, AI, or public-policy topics. Content is general information only. It is not legal, medical, financial, engineering, or other professional advice.
AI and Automation
AI features may summarize, classify, draft, search, or rank source material. Outputs can be incomplete or wrong. Important conclusions should be checked against the cited source records. Private prompts, uploaded files, and generated outputs are not used by us to train public AI models unless a product page or signed agreement says otherwise.
Developer APIs and Integrations
If APIs, snippets, connectors, or MCP-style tools are offered, use them only with authorized systems. Do not bypass rate limits, harvest private data, run abusive automated traffic, or build a materially similar competing service from protected NU functionality.
Acceptable Use
- Do not use NU for harassment, stalking, doxxing, threats, spam, fraud, malware, credential harvesting, or unlawful surveillance.
- Do not misuse public records to violate privacy, employment, housing, credit, consumer-reporting, or anti-discrimination laws.
- Do not submit illegal, infringing, abusive, obscene, or exploitative content.
- Do not test, scan, scrape, or attack systems you are not authorized to access.
Third-Party Sources
NU may link to public APIs, court-record providers, government databases, search providers, research publishers, social platforms, and other sites. Those providers control their own data and terms.
No Guaranteed Results
We do not guarantee search coverage, rankings, indexing, AI visibility, traffic, public-record completeness, business outcomes, or content performance.
